Objectives of industrial relations and their importance

There are not a lot of different objectives of industrial relations.  They are almost the same as each other but the end goal is to create and maintain an environment where everyone can easily work without any problems.

As mentioned above a major objective to maintain and promote good industrial relations is to maintain peace and promote harmony in the labor community as well as the management. This helps in running everything very smoothly and flawlessly without causing any hindrance in the work.

To do this, it is very important to uphold basic human rights and making sure that they are rightfully negotiated between the management and the labor community.

Another objective of the industrial relations should be the progress of the industrial and its development along with the happiness of the workers and to create such an environment that more workers would like to join in and make sure that all the operations go smoothly.

Apart from that another important point to raise is that these relations affect a country’s political situation as well. If the relations take a wrong turn in terms of bargaining and in terms of some policies the outcomes can be riots and strikes that will be done all over the country affecting the industrial side badly. Similarly, if the relations keep on going good the outcomes can be beneficial for the country contributing to its success and prosperity at every stage. The better the relations the better outcomes.
